The Araba of Osogbo land, Araba Ifayemi Elebuibon, has advised the Federal Government to be wary of the call for it to sell the country’s assets.

Elebuibon stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Tuesday.

He was reacting to the recent call by the President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote for the Federal Government to partially sell the nation’s assets and invest the proceeds into the ailing economy.

He said that selling the nation’s assets would not be in the overall interest of future generations.
