Breaking: Kidnappers release wife of CBN governor

Margaret Emefiele who was abducted at Ugoneki, a few miles from Benin City, Edo State on Thursday night was released in the early hours of Saturday by her abductors.
It was not clear if any ransom was paid to her abductors before her release.
A source revealed that Emefiele’s orderly died when the kidnappers struck.
Investigations revealed that Mrs. Emefiele boarded a flight from Abuja and landed safely at the Benin Airport, from where she left for Agbor in Delta State by road.
It was gathered that the hoodlums intercepted the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) she was travelling in and shot her orderly, who attempted to resist the operation.
The heavily armed men, it was learnt, pushed Mrs Emefiele into their vehicle and sped away into the bush with their captives.
