Nigeria fans back Super Eagles to beat Zambia

Nigeria may not have shone in their first—and to date only—match under Rohr, but they eventually overcame Tanzania 1-0 in a Nations Cup qualifying dead rubber thanks to a Kelechi Iheanacho wondergoal.

The victory has clearly prompted optimism among Eagles fans, with only 16 percent of those who replied to our poll not tipping the three-time African champions for victory.

Of those who aren’t backing Rohr’s side to get the job done, nine percent are expecting a draw in Sunday’s showdown, while only seven percent of those who replied are backing Zambia to pick up all three points.

In Group B’s other fixture, Algeria host Cameroon in Blida, with both heavyweights aware that they can ill afford a slip up if they are to reach Russia 2018.
