Media to sensitise residents on tax payment

The Niger State Board of Internal Revenue on Wednesday appealed to the media to sensitise residents to the importance of paying tax in the state.

Alhaji Hussaini Ahmed, Chairman of the board, made the appeal in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) in Minna.

He said that proper sensitisation would enable the public to realise the need to pay tax.

According to him, the board has deployed personnel across the state to ensure proper collection of revenue by applying tax laws with integrity and fairness to all.

” We will do everything humanly possible to ensure that all money realised are paid into government treasury to ensure massive construction of infrastructure across the state .”
