Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State is holding a closed-door meeting with the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC), and the National Joint Negotiating Council (JNC) in his office at Oke Mosan, Abeokuta over the strike embarked upon by workers in the state.
The Ogun State Government on Monday sacked the State Chairman of NLC, Akeem Ambali and Comrade Dare Ilekoya, Chairman of Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, Ogun State chapter following the strike by the workers.
Sources at the Governor’s office confirmed that the NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, TUC President, Boboi Kaigama and Kiri Shuaibu of JNC, were at the meeting with the governor.
