Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo has condoled with the family of late business mogul, Chief Micheal Ibru.
Obaseki said at the funeral rite of Ibru at All Saints Cathedral of the Diocese of Ughelli Anglican Communion on Wednesday that the family should take solace in the Lord.
He described the late Ibru as a man that was truly blessed by God and who spread his blessings to others to benefit.
The governor also described Ibru as a businessman who redefined business environment in the country.
He further said that his business acumen had a tremendous impact in the business scene.
Obaseki explained that he was grateful to God for the life the late Ibru lived and for touching many lives.
He said that Edo would miss him greatly, adding that Ibru started his business in the state and had mentored lots of business persons in the state.
The late Ibru was born on Dec. 25, 1930 and died Sept. 6.
Ibru would be interred in his native home in Agbarha in Ughelli North Local Government Area.
