At last, Lagos rolls out Lake Rice Wednesday at N12,000 per bag

The government had told the public that the rice would be available from 15 December, but it failed to meet up with the promise due to certain hitches.

PM News can authoritatively report that the rice would now be made available tomorrow as the price has further been crashed from N13,000 to N12,000.

The Lake Rice is meant to cushion the effect of economic recession.

Top government sources confirmed that the price of the 50 kilogramme rice had been reduce to N12, 000, following complaints received by the government over the price of the commodity.

The rice will no longer sell in all local governments and local council development areas as earlier announced by the government, but now on the three senatorial districts.
