APC ward chairman murdered in Port Harcourt

Until his death on Tuesday, he was the Ward 5 chairman of APC in the area.

Reports have it that Obuozo was shot dead in his home town at Obor community.

Police sources confirmed the incident adding that investigation had commenced to unravel the perpetrators of the crime.

The APC in Rivers State is yet to issue statement on the latest deathof its member.

Since the 2015 general elections in Rivers state, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government has been a killing field.

The last notable killing in the area was that of DSP Mohammed Alkali, and his orderly who were beheaded and buried in a shallow grave during the December 2016 rerun election.
