A German reality TV starlet Gina-Lisa Lohfink, is set to appear before a Berlin court on Friday in an effort to reverse a false testimony conviction against her in a rape case.

The false testimony against Lohfink, sparked a debate across Germany.

Lohfink accused two men of drugging and raping her after a night out in 2012.

The men posted a video showing Lohfink saying “stop it’’ and “no,’’ but a court found no evidence of rape and fined her 21,300 dollars for giving false testimony.

Judge Antje Ebler found that Lohfink had lied in her testimony and that the sex had been consensual.

A former competitor on reality TV shows such as “Germany’s Next Top Model,’’ Lohfink’s high-profile case partly informed a recent change to Germany’s rape laws to clarify that “no means no’’ even if the victim did not fight back.
