Katsina Senator Donates 2 Transformers To His District

Sen Mustapha Bukar (APC) representing Katsina North Senatorial District, on Friday donated two 500KVA Transformers to boost electricity supply in the zone.

The transformers were presented to the district heads of Mashi in Mashi Local Government Area and Kalgo in Daura Local Government Area, respectively.

The Campaign Director of the lawmaker, Alhaji Hamisu Haruna,presented the facilities to the traditional rulers in their respective domains.

He said the equipment would boost power supply as well as promote economic activities in the benefiting communities.

The District Head of Mashi, Alhaji Kabiru Aminu, and that of Waje in Daura area, Alhaji Auwalu Farouk, described the gesture as timely and very important to their respective communities.

They called on other politicians and wealthy individuals to emulate the senator, adding, “ we would do everything possible to ensure regular maintenance of these transformers”.

The transformers had been handed over to the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) for installation.
