Real Madrid held on to top position at La Liga after demolishing Alaves 3-0 on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Karim Benzema, who missed out of France international duty gave Madrid the lead in the 31st minute of the game.
Madrid had to wait for the 85th minute of the second half to make it 2-o when Isco scored a goal seal the game.
Nacho Fernandez scored the third goal in the 88th minute to give Madrid 3-0, thus consolidating its position at the top.
