Musa Nimrod, the President-elect of Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), says the federation will commence its domestic league in 2018.
Nimrod told newsmen on Thursday in Abuja that the league would help to strengthen the volleyball game in Nigeria.
He said the federation under his watch would focus on grassroots development of the sport.

“And by the grace of God, I want to assure you that come 2018 volleyball will start it own league. We are still discussing with the sponsors and we will reveal the sponsors in due time.
“I believe in grassroots development and we are already sourcing for sponsors for the game.
“By the grace of God, we are going back to Samsung to make them sponsors of volleyball. After the inauguration, we will conclude discussions with them,’’ Nimrod said.
