Summit on financing creative industry holds 17 July

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, insists on developing programmes and videos meant for Nigerians in Nigeria

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, addressing participants at the Creative Industry Roundtable in Lagos on Monday.

On Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th, the first summit on financing the creative industry will be held at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island Lagos.

The opening address will be delivered by the Minister of Information and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed with the key-note address to be delivered by the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo.

The event draws from a deep cross section of speakers from around the world and Nigeria and includes Rachel Glaister – EVP International Brands & Press; Graham Spencer – SVP EMEA South, Lindsey Oliver – MD Chiswick Park Studios; Sanjay Salil – MD MediGuru; Jason Njoku – CEO Ikoro TV; Alex Okosi – Senior Vice President & Managing Director at Viacom International Media Networks Africa; Kene Mkparu – Founder and Group MD/CEO of Filmhouse Cinemas and FilmOne Production/Distribution and Pai Gamde – Acting Head, Corporate Services Division, The Nigerian Stock Exchange among many others.
