NBC Shifts Conference On Transmitter Power

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) stakeholders’ conference on transmitter power slated for July 21 in Ikeja has been postponed to Aug. 2.

Hajia Maimuna Jimada, Head, Public Affairs of NBC, announced the postponement in Abuja on Thursday.

“All inconveniences caused by this rescheduling is regretted,’’ Jimada said, adding that the venue, Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, remained unchanged.

She said the conference was designed for Chief Executives and Heads of Engineering of all radio stations in the country.

NBC is the statutory body regulating and controlling the nation’s broadcasting industry.
