The President of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo says that cattle rustlers had been infiltrated by Islamic jihadists bent on foisting an evil agenda on the West African State.

He said the Fulanis who in most cases did not own the animals could not afford a N2.4 million AK 47 weapon each to kill fellow citizens and vandalize their farms with impunity.

Speaking on Monday during the covenant day of favour at Faith Tabernacle-Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, Oyedepo recalled how Fulani-herdsmen had lived with every host communities in the country in peace all these years and could not comprehend at when they got trained as gunmen.

He also challenged the National Assembly to publicly re-affirm the secular status of Nigeria.

Oyedepo said the pronouncement of the constitution has become necessary to remind the enemies of the nation to sheath their already sharpened sword as the country cannot afford another religious upheaval at this of her national development.

He said the most populous black nation on earth was neither a Christian or an Islamic
state.
