APC nullifies suspension of Muiz Banire

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as a nullity the purported suspension of the party’s National Legal Adviser, Dr Muiz Banire, by its executive committee in Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The APC, in a statement signed Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, said the local chapter of the party did not have such powers to suspend a national officer.
According to the party’s constitution, he said such powers resided with the National Executive Committee (NEC).
