Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state has approved the appointment of Alhaji Muhammad Fairuz as a Special Adviser on Solid Minerals.
A statement by the Director General Media and Communication, Salihu Yakasai on Thursday also announced the appointment of Ibrahim Ahmed Bichi as the Executive Secretary of the Library Board.
It added that Hadiza Aminu Baffa is now the Executive Secretary Agency for Mass Education while Sakina Aminu Yusuf is to head the Hajj Tribunal.
Yusuf replaces Khadi Salisu Mohammed who was earlier announced as Chairman of the tribunal but is to now to serve as a member.
The statement quoted Ganduje as urging the new appointees to be diligent and selfless in the discharge of their duties.
The new appointments are with immediate effect.
