The General Manager of the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency, LASIMRA, Mr. Babajide Odekunle has constituted a zero-tolerance Task Force to comb the length and breadth of Lagos Island and identify all illegal and non-compliant rooftop masts or those that could compromise the structural integrity of buildings on which they are installed.

Odekunle explained that the move was a fall out from the collapsed building with an illegal and unapproved roof-top mast on Massey Street, Lagos Island last week, saying the exercise became highly necessary to protect lives and property of Lagosians.
