The Chief Imam of Ayatulah Islamic Organisation in Osun, Sheik Tajudeen Ayatulah, has enjoined Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Kabir festival to show love, unity, kindness and peace as exemplified by Prophet Mohammed.

Ayatulah made the call on Thursday in Osogbo.

He urged Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to pray for Nigeria, especially in the present economic realities which had threatened the unity and progress of the country.

“I believe fellow Muslims will use the Eid-el-Kabir festival to pray for the unity and progress of this country,” he said.

According to him, Muslims must remain steadfast and be guided by lessons exemplified by Prophet Mohammed to sacrifice his son in accordance to the will of Allah.

He said that the need to sacrifice love, kindness, peace among individuals would be of enormous benefit in strengthening the existing peaceful coexistence.

He, however, urged Muslim faithful to pray for the total recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari.
