Philanthropist Donates Ambulance To Jigawa Council

A philanthropist, Alhaji Nasiru Adam, has donated ambulance to the office of Primary Healthcare Development Agency (PHCDA) in MalamMadori Local Government Area of Jigawa.

The council’s Information Officer, Alhaji Fahad Muhammad, confirmed this on Monday in Dutse.

Muhammad said the donation was made at a ceremony organised by MalamMadori Development Foundation (MDF) on Sunday in MalamMadori.

He explained that the Secretary of the MDF, Malam Sale Salim, commended the donor for the gesture and urged other spirited people to emulate Adam’s philanthropic gesture.

The spokesman said that the donation would complement the state government’s efforts at improving healthcare delivery at the grassroots.

According to him, the council would welcome collaborations with the private sector and individuals towards improving health services in the council.

Muhammad said that the District Head of MalamMadori, in whose palace the ceremony was held, commended the donor and called on other wealthy individuals to emulate.

A letter of appreciation was also presented to the donor by MDF for his humanitarian services to the area.
