Ghana maul Nigeria 4-1 to win WAFU Cup

The Black Stars of Ghana mauled Nigeria’s Super Eagles 4-1 to win the WAFU Cup of Nations on Sunday.

Ghana dominated the encounter played at the Cape Coast Stadium as they overwhelmed their Nigerian counterpart.

Stephen Sarfo scored a brace for the Black Stars while Atinga and Cobbinah scored a goal each for the hosts to seal the match for the Black Stars.

Rabiu Ali scored a stunning free kick late in the game, but it could not change anything as the Super Eagles settled for second place.
