‘Why Gani Adams deserved Aare Ona Kankafo title’

The Chief Executive Officer, Adedas and Company Global Services Limited, Prince Adedipe Ewenla has said that Otunba Gani Adams deserved the title of Aare Ona Kankafo of Yoruba land because he has done so much for the race.

Ewenla, in a statement congratulated Adams over the conferment of the title 19years after the former Aare Ona kankafo, Chief Moshood Abiola died While in military custody in 1998.

“What Otunba Gani Adams has done for the Yoruba race earns him the well deserved title of Aare Ona Kankafo of Yoruba land and I commend Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 3, Alaafin of Oyo, Iku Babayeye and all the elders who made it possible for this great illustrious son of our land to be so honoured,” he said.

He said the title would surely ginger Adams to do more for the Yoruba people.
