Laolu Gbenjo music group shines at African Cultural Festival

The Laolu Gbenjo Music Group is one of the most talented and sought after when it comes to gospel music. Recently this sensational group dazzled at the African Cultural Festival amidst shouts of admiration from the huge crowd.

The band is a delight, spreading warmth and happiness with their gospel blend of high life fuji, juju and new fascinating songs.

The group head is no other than the amiable, gifted Olaolu Gbenjo who dazzles with his eclectic stage performance.

When asked about what stands out the group, Gbenjo had this to say, “It’s our style of music. The band does contemporary African high-life gospel music and old CAC traditional music.”

He added: “So, I think that alone has given us a brand. It has been 10 years since we started playing together as a band and it’s been interesting but also challenging. I give thanks to God. When we first started, finance and platforms were the major issue but, for now, things have been good”

Wherever the band plays, they bewitch and spread warmth and happiness amongst people, performing their gospel blend of High-Life fuji , Juju, equilibristic improvisations, and new fascinating music composed and arranged by the group and the leader, Gbenjo known for his eclectic stage performances.
