Building and construction in Nigeria is a subject we cannot overlook. Every other day, different projects including private, state and federal are commissioned while others are in progress in different parts of the country. Roads, houses, bridges are occupied and used by humans daily therefore neglect on behalf of the owners, construction workers, the govt including regulatory bodies obviously should not be condoled.

There have been countless cases of building collapse and deaths as a result of improper structure, maintenance or use of substandard materials for projects.

Nduka also mentioned that whether Govt, private or state projects, there is preference to using foreigners in building and construction rather than patronising Nigerians due to the fact that some of these Nigerians do not even know the job well enough to deliver.
