Pioneer President of Oliver Circle of Nigeria, Chief Fassy Yusuf made the call in a statement ahead of the investiture of new executive members led by Prince Rasaq Kunle Qadri scheduled for this weekend in Ogun State.
He said in furtherance of ensuring that the vision of the founding father are realized the body has been engaged majorly in philanthropic activities by reaching out to indigent students and providing some basic infrastructure for the people of Ogun state.
Yusuf further stated in the statement that Nigerians particularly those in need stand to benefit more if government and the private sector devote more resources to the basic needs of the people including health, good road network, shelter and education.
Among the Guests invited to grace the occasion include; the Olor`ogun, (Dr.) Sonny F.KuKu and Kabiyesi Alaiyeluwa Oba Y. O. Adekoya.
Otunba Jimi Lawal, who is the Special Guest of Honour will deliver a lecture on Community Development and Mobilization.
