The Federal Government on Wednesday orderd the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, to end the fuel queues in the country by the end of this week.

The directive was issued on Wednesday during the Federal Executive Council which held inside the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Minister of Information, Mr Lai Mohammed, briefed State House correspondents after the meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari who was on a working visit to Kano State.

He said Dr Kachikwu who was meant to give a brief on the outcomes of the meeting was attending another crucial meeting to end the long fuel queues witnessed across the country, Channels tv reports.
