After seeing The Wedding party 1, with more than enough suspense and comedy at the same time, movie lovers could not get enough of the story line directed by the brilliant Kemi Adetiba as they clamoured for more. The movie which was a huge success, winning several awards however led to producing The Wedding party 2, premiered at the IMax Cinema Lekki, Lagos last night.
The movie is about the romance between Nonso Onwuka (Enyinna Nwigwe) and Deirdre (Daniella Down), the bridesmaid from London. Starring new cast with the old ones including Patience Ozokwor, Sola Sobowale, Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Seyi Law, Chigurl, Daniella Down, RMD, Ireti Doyle, Ali Baba, Ikechukwu the Rapper, Enyinna Nwigwe, Wofaifada, Saka among others. The sequel was directed by Niyi Akinmolayan.
Filmed in Nigeria and Dubai since May and now out in cinemas by December 15th, inkblot productions and the Elfike Collective in collaboration with Mo Abudu’s Ebonylife Tv is sure to give its audience an experience to make them come back for more movies like this one.
