Lagos Water Corporation, LWC, is set to begin mass disconnection exercise of water defaulters in the state, particularly Oworonshoki area.

This was made known in a statement released by the Lagos Water Corporation, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officers, CEO, Engr. Muminu Badmus on Tuesday.

Badmus said the corporation had begun serving disconnection notices to Water defaulters in the State as a last warning before embarking on disconnection exercise.

The LWC boss restated that “the state government is committed towards provision of uninterrupted potable water to the residents of Lagos and wants the public to support the Government efforts by paying their Water bills as at when due for effective service delivery.”

He, therefore, urged the public to pay their water bills to avoid being disconnected, as the corporation had increased water supply in the State so that Lagosians could celebrate the Xmas and New Year with abundant supply of potable water.

While wishing the general Public Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance, Engr. Badmus enjoined Lagosians to conserve and use water wisely during the yuletide period and after.
