Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe and fashion designer @Rikaotobyme are currently embattled in a court case of which a new bride took legal actions against them.
A red dress meant for a bride on her wedding day was allegedly diverted by the designer to the movie star who has said she’s had no direct dealings with @Rikaotobyme and that every transaction as regards the red dress she wore for her 40th birthday was carried out by her stylist.
In a letter addressed to the designer titled “Notification of Breach of Contract and Allegations of Fraudulent, Unlawful and Criminal Conduct,” The lawyers accused both Rikaotobyme and Mercy Aigbe of fraudulent conspiracy to convert their client’s property for “selfish gains.” The bride’s lawyers Capitalfield Attorneys says if the designer does not resolve the issues within 7 days their client shall proceed to court.
