Young entrepreneur, Seun Ayeni has launched has launched a multi-functional application called ‘Bizzybody App’ to bridge lacuna in the entertainment industry and also ease stress associated with identifying venues of major entertainment activities within and around some Nigerian cities.
At the launch of the app on Sunday in Ikoyi, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, Ayeni explained that he was inspired by his unending desire for solution to identified missing links in the entertainment industry where problems of getting ticket sold in a very transparent manner had become a source of worry to event owners and inability to access various venues of entertainment was already discouraging tourists and entertainment lovers.
According to him, the Bizzybody initiative which started two years ago as an event directory had now metamorphosed into something bigger to include online chat room for users of the app, event ticketing, among others.
“Once you register with us on this application and launch it from the comfort of your house, the app will authomatically source for events happening within your area because your location would have been captured in our database during the registration stage, and you will just be left with the option of choosing which of the events you want to attend.
“If it is a ticketed event, you can just buy the ticket right inside the app and the most amazing part of this is that you will get 5 percent discount on all the tickets you buy on the app authomatically and I can assure you that you can’t get this type of offer anywhere else or on any other platform except on Bizzybody,” he said.
The entertainer also disclosed that the app would assist event planners to have statistics of those who attended their events so that they could redirect the focus of their events next time to meet the needs and tastes of the attendees.
“This application is accessible on the Google Play Store free, there is no premium on any sections of the app and it is devoid of advertisements at the moment because we do not want any interruption for our users,” he added.
He used the occasion of the App launch to inspire youths to always have a positive mindset desirous of deploying solutions that would address specific challenges in the society.
“Nigerian youths should know that anything is doable, what they need do is to first identify a missing link because there are so many problems around us and think of how to bridge the gap,” he said.
