Members of the National Association of Kwara State Students(NAKSS) on Thursday in Abuja staged a protest over what they claimed to be the prolonged trial of the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Mr Abdulazeez El-Imam, the President of the Senate council of NAKSS, said the case has matamorphosed into a persecution of sort and it affecting Saraki’s work at the Senate.

“This is a body standing in for the 1.6 million Kwara students within Nigeria and diaspora. We are here to show solidarity with the President of the Senate Bukola Saraki.

“We are tired of the case in court. This is no more prosecution but persecution and it has to end. It is disturbing the peace of the country and not allowing him focus on his parliamentary duties.
