The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), on Saturday, confirmed the death of one person in a morning accident that occurred at Mowe /Ibafo axis on Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.
Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the agency, said in Abeokuta that the accident, involving a Mazda bus, occurred at about 8:03 a.m.
“Unknown trailer hit the bus from the rear, and the bus lost control, hit the barrier and somersaulted,’’ he said.
Akinbiyi said that three persons were involved in the accident, but only one of them died.
The TRACE spokesman said that the corpse of the dead had been taken to Fakoya private morgue in Sagamu.
It would be recalled that five persons were killed in an auto crash on the Sagamu – Ogijo road in Ogun on Friday, while two others were injured in an accident involving a truck and a Toyota camry car
