a colleague fatally, an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court ruled on Monday in Lagos.
The accused — Kabiru, 30, and Gambo, 20, –are facing charges of conspiracy and murder.
The Magistrate, Mrs O.A. Adegite, who gave the ruling, directed that the case file should be duplicated and a copy sent to the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.
Earlier, Insp. Julius Babatope, the Police Prosecutor, told the court that the accused committed the offences on Feb. 27 at 10.00 p.m. at Elewa Junction in Ikorodu in Lagos State.
He said the duo had pounced on Ibrahim Kabiru, 28, and beat him to death with planks and iron rods.
The offences, he noted, violates Sections 224 and 233 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The case was adjourned until May 10 for DPP’s advice.
