CAN General Secretary, Rev. Musa Asake dies at 68

The General Secretary, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Musa Asake has died at the age 68.

Asake’s death was confirmed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) by his younger brother Mr Asake Philimon.

Philimon said that Asake passed away in the early hours of this morning, in his Abuja residence after complaining of being sick.

Philimon said the deceased had hypertension.

He said recently he complained about pains in his legs and had undergone physiotherapy in the last few weeks before his demise.

“He even went to see his doctor yesterday and came back home and has shown signs of improvement,” he said.

He said further details of the burial arrangements would be announced soon.
