Senator Dino Melaye dumps APC for PDP

Embattled Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West senatorial district in the Senate has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Senator Melaye announced his defection to Peoples Democratic party on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday.

Melaye’s appearance in the Senate was his first after some weeks of absence as a result of his being hospitalised after attempting to evade police arrest.
