Not less than seven ships containing petrol sailed into the country on Thursday and are waiting to berth at Apapa and Tincan ports in Lagos, says the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
It also said three others containing general goods, diplomatic goods and buck fertiliser were waiting to berth at the ports.
The authority said it was also expecting 31 ships to sail into the country between Thursday and June 16.
Four of the 31 ships will sail in with petrol, the remaining 27 with base oil, frozen fish, salt, bulk sugar, empty containers, bulk gypsum and general cargo.
