Lagos ports receive 9 ships conveying petrol, others

A total of nine ships have arrived at Apapa and Tincan ports on Tuesday and are waiting to berth, says the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

According to the authority, six of ships are conveying petrol; two, containers with general goods, and one, bulk fertilizer.

It said 33 other ships were expected to sail into Nigeria between June 5 and June 16.

Five of the expected 33 ships will sail in with petrol.

The remaining 28 ships are carrying frozen fish, salt, bulk gas, steel products, bulk salt, diesel, empty containers, general cargo and general cargo.
