Nigeria’s Super Eagles have again lost 1-o to Czech Republic in a friendly match in preparation for the World Cup in Russia.
Kalas T’s 25 minutes strike was all that the Czech Republic needed to beat a fumbling Super Eagles, even though the Nigerian side fielded what could be regarded as its starting eleven.
The defeat means that Nigeria have failed to win any of their last five matches, while the Czech Republic that have lost five consecutive matches without a draw, salvaged their pride with the victory.
The Super Eagles’ 61 percent ball possession counted for nothing as the team could not find the back of the net all through the encounter.
Last Saturday, the Super Eagles lost 2-1 to England and were held to 1-1 at home by Ebola-raved DR Congo.
The Nigeria side face a rejuvenated Croatia side on June 16 before playing Iceland and Argentina later in Group D in Russia.
