#NGAISL: Super Eagles and European oppositions

Following Croatia 3-0 bashing of Argentina yesterday, many Nigerian football fans now believe the Super Eagles can beat Iceland and ultimately qualify for the next round of the competition.

However, records from previous World Cup matches against European oppositions suggest otherwise.

Super Eagles has played 12 matches against European oppositions since it debut at U.S.A 1994. They’ve won 5, draw 1 and lost 6.

Nigeria has also scored 14 goals and conceded 16 goals against European oppositions.
