No fewer than 13 ships carrying various products are at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Friday in Lagos.

It said five of the vessels contained petrol, while the remaining eight ships would berth with aviation fuel, uria soya beans, bulk gas, diesel and fertilizer.

The NPA stated that 30 other ships carrying buckwheat, containers, steel, frozen fish, steel buckwheat, base oil, bulk gas, base oil, bulk fertiliser, general cargo and petrol were expected at the ports between June 29 and July 30.
