Denola Grey debuts acting career in EbonyLife's legal series

Denola Grey at the official premiere of Africa’s first legal drama series, Castle & Castle. He played the role of Ben Castle.

Famous media presenter, fashion writer, fashion consultant and style blogger, Denola Adepetun, widely known as Denola Grey, has debuted his acting career in the Africa’s first legal series, Castle & Castle.

Denola while addressing newsmen on Friday 29th of June, at the private premiere of the first episode of this blockbuster drama series at Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos, expressed his excitement on being a part of the amazing cast of the series as he had learnt so much amidst having so much fun on set.

Relating how he got about his role, Denola said, “When Mo called me, I told her that I was already fixed and had to anchor my show on EbonyLife TV, but she said, ‘you know what? just think about it’. After I thought it through, I proceeded to audition just like every other person and wouldn’t have achieved success without the tutoring I got from Eku and Deyemi who kept prepping me till I got my lines and acts right. By the way, this is my first acting, so you all should watch out for me as Castle &a Castle has given me a platform to debut my acting skills.”

In ths sensational legal series, Denola played the role of Ben Castle, the only son of Prof Tega Castle and his wife, Remi Castle. (SAN).

Denola featured alongside other top Nollywood actors such as Richard Mofe Damijo, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Eku Edewor, Ade Laoye, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Deyemi Okanlawon, Dorcas Shola Fapson, Tomike Alayande, BellaRose Okojie, Anee Icha, Amanda Dara, Diipo Adeusi, Mawuli Gavor, Nedu Nwigwe and others.

Castle & Castle is directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, Tope Oshin and Kenneth Gyang and is scheduled to start airing on EbonyLife ON from the 1st of July 2018.
