Lagos ports receive 9 ships with petrol, other products

A total of nine ships carrying various products are at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Friday in Lagos.

It said three of the vessels contained petrol, while the remaining six ships would berth with aviation fuel, diesel and bulk fertiliser.

The NPA said that 23 other ships carrying buckwheat, steel, frozen fish, bulk salt, bulk sugar, bulk fertiliser, diesel vehicles, general cargo and petrol were expected at the ports between July 13 and July 30.
