Before the impending disbursement of loans to farmers nationwide, Baale of Omotedo Sanni-Oke-Afa in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, High Chief Mufutau Sanni, has appealed to the Buhari-led federal government to channel the loans to genuine farmers and not political farmers.

Baale Sanni who gave the advice while speaking with reporters in his palace, said this became necessary in view of the fact that most of the loans giving out by the government always went to the wrong hands instead of big time farmers.

The monarch who is also the president of the farmers association of Nigeria, Oyo State chapter, expressed dissatisfaction over channeling of loans meant for farmers to political office holders.
