Opeifa urges loyalists to remain calm ahead of rescheduled Lagos APC Senatorial primaries

Former Lagos Commissioner for Transportation and an All Progressives Congress, APC, Senatorial Aspirant, Comrade Kayode Opeifa has asked his supporters to remain calm ahead of the rescheduled senatorial primary election in Lagos State.

Opeifa, in a statement, said his attention had been drawn to a news item purportedly from the APC National Leadership relating to the outcome of the Senatorial screening exercises conducted on 21-23 September, 2018 at the Transcor Hilton Hotel, Abuja under the chairmanship of Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim.

“To set the records straight, l provided the committee with all that was required and received high commendation from the panel while awaiting the official outcome without any doubt. As at today 3/10/18. I am still waiting to be briefed.

“Since then, I have traversed the length and breath of the Senatorial district (the largest in the country with about 15 million people covering the Badagry and Ikeja divisions of Lagos State), meeting with constituents and stakeholders who are delighted to have seen an opportunity for a deserved Change from within.

“I appeal to our teeming party loyalists to remain calm, continue in our preparation towards the rescheduled Party primaries while awaiting further directives. The Party will always remain supreme,” he said.
