Banky W, Tiwa Savage, Falz, Mr P, others pay tribute to Tosyn Bucknor

Tributes have continue to pour in from celebrities over the death of OAP, Tosyn Bucknor.

Banky W, Tiwa Savage, Mr P, Simi, Yemi Alade, Falz and others have taken to social media to pay tribute to the popular On Air Personality, Tosyn Bucknor who passed on late Monday after complications from sickle cell.

Yemi described Tosyn as angel “This world never deserved you,you are in a better place”.

Mr P wrote: My dear Tosyn REST IN PEACE! We will surely miss you 🙏🏽🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯 Still can’t believe.

Tiwa Savage is still in shock as she struggled to put words together. She wrote: Can’t believe I’m even saying RIP, this is so heartbreaking. Life seems so surreal nowadays.

For Banky W, he described Tosyn as “one of my favourite people on earth”.

Simi saw her as a light that will never dim because she loved to help people. Even when she was upset with you, she wasn’t spiteful or vengeful.

In Falz words: Angels don’t die, they ascend to heaven. I know you’re in a better place.

When I heard, at first it was a numb shock, because of course, it had to be a lie. But then, I heard again and again. How? No. I’m so sad because Tosyn was such a light. A genuine light that was rooting for everyone she believed in. One of the few that I met in the industry early on that truly wanted people to win even when it didn’t serve her. Tosyn is a light that will never dim because she loved to help people. Even when she was upset with you, she wasn’t spiteful. Or vengeful. I’m so sorry. About the pain that the people that love you feel today and will feel for days and days to come. Thank you for your strength. For always smiling. I wish you could have had the chance to do more you beautiful, vibrant queen. But thank you for doing plenty. . Something this sad happens, but the world keeps going. It sucks. I always described Tosyn as “one of my favourite people on earth”, because it was true. I really, truly loved her. She was so full of life and incredible, positive energy… I believe she’s resting in a better place, but I’m hurting bad because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. This world needs more people like her. I’m gonna miss her so much. So much… it’s hurting me in my soul. I pray for her husband, Sister, family and friends. May God give the kind of strength and comfort only He can provide. May we make the most of every day that we are blessed to experience. That’s what she did. Today I’m completely heartbroken because I lost one of my favourite people, but I’m so grateful that I got to know her at all. I will miss her forever. #tosynbucknor
