The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Muhammed on Friday said the Federal Government was not bothered about the visit of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s visit to the United State.
Speaking while reacting to the PDP presidential candidate’s visit to the US, he said the visit did not mean that Abubakar was free of corruption issues.
He also said Atiku would be questioned over his alleged role in the collapse of former Bank PHB.
Making the allegation in Abuja on Friday, Muhammed alleged that Abubakar benefited from N156 million ‘slush funds.’
Punch reports that Mohammed told State House correspondents that the money was through the Claremont Management Services Account on 13th January, 2009.
