Boko Haram terrorists have attacked the convoy of the Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima and killed two soldiers and two civilians on Wednesday.
The governor narrowly escaped death.
A civilian militia member said the attack happened near the town of Dikwa as Shettima was on the campaign trail ahead of nationwide elections on Saturday.
“Two soldiers were killed and two other civilians,” he told AFP.
