Buhari polls 1.46m votes in Kano to emerge winner

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari polled 1,464,768 votes to win the presidential election by a landslide in Kano State.

In the results announced by INEC’s Collating Officer, Prof. M. Garuba, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP polled a distant 391,593 votes to emerge second.

SDP came third with 635 votes; ADC, 591 votes; ADP, 439 votes and AAC, 416 votes.
