I’ve been up since a few minutes past 3Am when my girl @halimellams called me saying my account had been hacked and was being used to post offensive things. I was in serious panic mode because I was completely logged out, email had been changed as well as phone number and password which meant there was absolutely no way for me to access my account. • I honestly don’t remember the last time I had ever felt this way. I was shutting down mentally already because apart from how much I love my insta fam, this is also my BUSINESS! I was shut out of the platform I use to promote my brand and work. Locked out of the account I use in promoting the brands I represent and fulfill ambassadorial duties and I had no idea how I was going to get it back without having to start from scratch! • • I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to my girl @halimellams who woke me up from sleep and connected me to @ovieo who absolutely came through for me! 🙌🏽🙌🏽💃🏽💃🏽❤️ @aoquadry Who literally hasn’t slept either cause he was up helping me at his own end as well 🙏😩❤️ @adekunlegold was the next person to alert me about this and also used his contacts to help me!❤️ thank you!!!! @tomiwaimmanuel 😭❤️ thank you for calming me down and helping me out! And to my amazing @lux team(@hellomonica @motunrayobabalola ) 😩💜💜💜 you are the best!!!!!! I’m sure Instagram office is shaking now with messages from your end in attempt to get my account back. Thank you for coming through for me. • • I’m very blessed to have these people who came to my rescue. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, let’s all try to be a little more considerate! My account was apparently hacked because “they were having fun”. That fun has caused me a lot of headache and a sleepless night. Nonetheless, I’m going to move on from this and not let it cause me any set backs. On that note, Happy new month my lovelies ❤️❤️❤️
