Mr Monday Nanza, former Administrator of Akun Development Area, Nasarawa State, has urged the electorate in the state to vote All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates during the Governorship and state House of Assembly elections.

Nanza made the call on Tuesday during the APC stakeholders meeting at Wakama electoral ward of Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.

He commended the party stakeholders and supporters for their support and votes for President Muhammadu Buhari and National Assembly APC candidates during the Feb. 23 elections.

The former council boss also urged the electorate to continue to support APC by voting its candidates during the forthcoming elections.

“I want to appeal to you to continue to support and vote all APC candidates during the March 9 election.

“Please don’t relent in your efforts towards ensuring the victory of APC candidates in your various polling units,” he said.

Besides, he urged the electorate to shun violence before, during and after the elections.

The former administrator drummed support for Gov. Tanko Al-Makura’s administration to enable him deliver the much needed dividend of democracy to the people.

Also speaking, Mr Christopher Auta and Charles Shari, the Ward APC Chieftains who spoke during the meeting, also urged the electorate to vote all APC candidates during the elections.

They commended the party supporters for working tirelessly for the victory of Buhari and National Assembly members in the Feb. 23 elections.

Earlier, Mr Danjuma Angbashim, the Councilor representing Wakama electoral ward of Nassarawa Eggon legislative council, said that the meeting was aimed at strategizing on how to mobilise support for the victory of APC candidates come March 9.

He commended the party’s stakeholders and other supporters for mobilising support for APC during Feb. 9 election and called for its sustenance.

The councilor urged the people of the state and Nigerians to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities, live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of political affiliation.
